IBL Surprizes at Intercommercial Bank, Port-of-Spain
The Port of Spain Branch of Intercommercial Bank Limited (IBL) launched its “IBL Surprizes” promotion where first-time customers to the Branch receive a complimentary gift in addition to a chance to win a 32 inch plasma television, an Acer Netbook or a Sony Digital Camera. Whether you have opened a savings/investment account valued $2,500 and more or acquired an IBL Loan during the period of October 6-December 31st 2010, you could have qualified to win one of these Grand prizes. Intercommercial Bank also partnered with nearby Femmes Du Chalet (Breakfast Shed) where diners who open an account also get a chance to participate for the Grand Prize draw as well as receive a complimentary meal courtesy IBL.
Intercommercial Bank, in keeping with its practice of supporting local culture, commissioned Brown Cotton Theatre Ensemble to provide the entertainment at the launch and periodically during the Friday Lunch Hour (refer to performance diary below). The Woodbrook based performing troupe, along with doing traditional theatrical work, also specialises in street theatre. This was evident in their presentation at the launch where they showcased through mime the benefits and services at the Bank, with particular focus on the Visa International Electron and Visa Gold International Debit Cards.
The Breakfast shed patrons can also delight in a variety of musical entertainment scheduled with the pantomime troupe, providing an escape into an energised atmosphere along with the mouth-watering flavours of food and punches catered by the chefs of Femmes Du Chalet. Three days are earmarked for the entertainment, beginning at Femmes du Chalet and moving along to lower Frederick Street; Thursday 4th November with Tassa, Friday 19th November with pan and Friday 10th December with Parang. Activities begin at 11:30 a.m and end at 1:30 p.m.
